Flat Rock AME Church to Celebrate its 158th Anniversary!

Flat Rock African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will celebrate its 158th Anniversary with a special service at 2:30 PM on Sunday, August 12, 2012.
Flat Rock AME Church is the oldest African-American church in Fayette County.
The Senior Pastor at Flat Rock is the Reverend Ed Johnson.   (Reverend Johnson is one of my dearest friends and I count it a privilege to have him as a true brother in Christ!)  The guest speaker will be the Reverend Larry Hudson of St. Mark AME Church in Atlanta.
Flat Rock is located between Peachtree City and Fayetteville at 148 Old Chapel Lane, just off GA HWY 54.  (It's just east of Adams Farm and just west of the postal distribution center.)
Flat Rock is a leadership church in the Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF) which exists to promote unity among area churches.   We "seek the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."  (EPHESIANS 4:3, NIV)  Please help us celebrate this joyous occasion!
