His mission is to be a resource for local Pastors and their men and to act as a liaison between them and the national Promise Keepers ministry. The goal of Promise Keepers is effective ministry to men.

Walk in the Light!

“I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.”  -- The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King

[Now, 50 years later, it would be the grandsons or even great-grandsons of slaves and slave owners who could be sitting "at the table of of brotherhood."  Why is this not happening?  Part of the reason is that we are not truly "walking in the light."  1 JOHN 1:7a  -- "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another..."  Brothers, I beseech you, walk in the light!  TAK]
