The Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF)

will hold their regular Fifth Sunday community worship service

on September 29, 2013 at 2:30 PM

at Flat Rock African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church. 

The host pastor is my good friend and close brother in Christ, the Rev. Ed Johnson.   Rev. Johnson is a Councilman for the City of Fayetteville.

 

The guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Eric M. Gurley from Flint Ridge Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will hold their summer Revival services  at 7:00 PM on Monday through Wednesday, August 26-28, 2013.   The host pastor is my good friend, the Reverend Larry Ervin.

The revivalists are the Rev. Vaughn Mosley of Rock Temple AME Church in Conyers on Monday, the Rev. Raphael Allen of Turner Chapel AME Church in Atlanta on Tuesday, and the Rev. Terrence Evans of St. Paul AME Church in Dallas on Wednesday. 

 

Holly Grove is located in Peachtree City at  400 Holly Grove Church Road, just off the south end of Robinson Road.

Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will hold their Homecoming on Sunday, August 25, 2013 with morning and afternoon services.

Men's Revival starts tonight at True Love Christian Ministries

 

 

Golden Moments Men’s Ministry at True Love Christian Ministries (TLCM) will have its annual Men's Revival on June 20-22, 2013.  The theme for the Revival is “Men Manning Up in the Kingdom of God.”  Romans 12: 1-2 is the scriptural reference: We must present our bodies a living sacrifice and renew our minds.

[Now, 50 years later, it would be the grandsons or even great-grandsons of slaves and slave owners who could be sitting "at the table of of brotherhood."  Why is this not happening?  Part of the reason is that we are not truly "walking in the light."  1 JOHN 1:7a  -- "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another..."  Brothers, I beseech you, walk in the light!  TAK]

Edgefield Baptist Church in Fayetteville will celebrate its 142nd Anniversary on Sunday, October 7, 2012 with services at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The new Senior Pastor at Edgefield is Elder Daniel Smart.

Flat Rock African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will celebrate its 158th Anniversary with a special service at 2:30 PM on Sunday, August 12, 2012. 

Flat Rock AME Church is the oldest African-American church in Fayette County. 

The Senior Pastor at Flat Rock is the Reverend Ed Johnson.   (Reverend Johnson is one of my dearest friends and I count it a privilege to have him as a true brother in Christ!)  The guest speaker will be the Reverend Larry Hudson of St. Mark AME Church in Atlanta.

Gideons Army Men's Ministry at Edgefield Baptist Church in Fayetteville is holding a Men's Weekend "The Soul of A Man" with three separate events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 27, 28, and 29, 2012. The Interim Pastor at Edgefield is Reverend L. "Zan" Stanford.
